• Prime Minister Narendra Modi
launched the National Digital Health
Mission that would revolutionise the
country’s health sector.
• Under the mission, every Indian would
receive a unique health identity card.

HOW IT WORKS?

stored in every citizen's health ID.

registered in this health card.

of detail will be available in the unique
health profile.

BLUEPRINT OF THE MISSION
• The Blueprint of the National Digital
Health mission was prepared by a
health ministry panel.
• This is to create a framework for the
national health stack proposed in 2018
by the NITI Aayog.
