Introduction
• Jio Reliance launched JioMeet, their answer to Zoom. The telecom company of Mukesh 
Ambani launched its video conferencing software on Thursday night with little fanfare, 
and its applications are already available on Google Play and the App Store. 
• Reliance Jio has launched its first new product after a nonstop run of funding updates, 
and it is joining the ring against Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and other 
common video conferencing devices.

1:1 Calling
• JioMeet supports direct calling (1:1 calling) and holding meetings of up to 100 attendees. 
The software provides enterprise-grade host controls according to Reliance Jio. 
• With your phone number or email ID, you can sign up and the meetings help HD quality.

• It is free to use and you can create unlimited meetings every day, as well as

The Easy Interface
• The platform has a very basic interface which actually looks like a fair bit like 
Zoom; but a fast check showed it seems to work much like the other leading 
devices.

Salient Features
• JioMeet says the app supports multi-device login support, on up to five devices, and you 
can switch between devices seamlessly while on call. 
• There is also the Safe Driving Mode feature, as well as standard features such as screen 
sharing.

Beta Testing
• While the app is now available to the public, Jio had been testing it for a few months and
