Awareness
PM Modi every now and then appealing to all Indian 
citizens to be responsible and be aware on the disease.
He also, is suggesting people not to panic.
He is keeping a daily contact with all the chief ministers 
of India for smooth regulations.
Fund 
Collection
To fight against deadly Covid19, India govt. announced 
public for funding donations to Pradhan Mantri National 
Relief Fund.
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also 
announced for another scheme “PM-CARES” for 
collecting micro-donations.
Screening
Anyone coming to India by flight had been screened at 
airport.
Indian govt. is also monitoring the heat map across the 
country and checking if India is going towards stage-3.

Lock-Down
Initially, the Govt. asked for one day lock down on 22nd 
March 2020.
But, due to its failure, the Govt. made the lockdown 
mandate till 14th of April 2020, i.e. a two week 
lockdown.
Panic 
Control
Due to the lockdown, people were rushing for grocery 
collection.
But, the Govt. has promised to keep all the things 
available and controlling unnecessary hike in the price. 
Hence, people are bit relaxed
Contact with WHO
The Indian Govt. is walking parallel to the World Health 
Organization(WHO).
The government is in direct contact with the WHO and 
taking all steps needed to curb the spread of the fatal 
virus.
Hygiene
Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways 
prompted states and Union Territories to make all 
strides for sanitization of open vehicle vehicles and 
terminals. 
This is to guarantee sanitation of seats, handles and 
bars at all transport terminals are sanitized.
Social 
Distancing
Indian govt. is promoting social distancing by 
promoting via social media and AIR. 
To ensure the same, the Govt. has made the grocery 
shops available from 7am to 12pm only.
Govt. is requesting people to stay at home only.
Health

The announcement said 20 video-meetings were held 
by the Union Health Secretary with the state
