started making ventilators or similar alternatives, Ethereal 
Machines, located in Bengaluru, has a unique solution to 
meet the demand
✓ Founded in 2014 by Kaushik Mudda and Navin Jain, 
Ethereal Machines is a unique 3D printing ventilator 
splitter designed to handle two patients with varying 
ventilation needs through differential pressure splitting.

2. Karkhana.io
✓ The startup, based in Mumbai, produces face shields, aerosol 
boxes, and goggles. The startup also provides software to 
help others make PPEs and other ICU equipment such as 
valves, connectors, and parts for ventilators. 
✓ Karkhana.io has received an INR 20 Lakh grant from ACT for 
their unique approach in battling coronavirus.

✓ Founded by researchers at Stanford University Debayan 
Saha and Shashi Ranjan, PerSapien has built a mini robot 
called 'Minus Corona UV Bot' for the sterilization of hospital

✓ Gurugram-based Staqu, which provides face-recognition systems, has introduced a thermal 
artificial intelligence camera to identify possible positive Covid-19 events. 
✓ The company typically supplies its smart cameras for surveillance by law enforcement.

✓ The company is also looking to add a thermal detection feature to those cameras, 
created by Anurag Soni. The camera would then be able to determine whether a 
person is having a fever, a common Covid-19 symptom.

Stations Network
✓ Pulse Active Stations Network has set up fully protected

Vincense, a wearable device that continuously monitors 
pulse rate, levels of oxygen, skin temperature and

software for government officials to monitor a large number 
of home quarantined individuals through a single dashboard 
to ensure people follow socially distant norms.
