for the third phase of unlocking the country, 
to get the country back on track.

COVID 19 SCENAIO
• India's Covid-19 tally crossed 15 lakh-
mark  with 48,513 people testing 
positive for corona virus in a day. 
• The country's death toll rose to 34,193 
with 768 fatalities being recorded in a

GUIDELINE 1
• Movement of individuals during night hours.
• There shall be no restriction on inter-state and 
intra-state movement of persons and goods.

• Yoga institutes, gymnasiums will open from 
August 5. 
• A standard operating procedure will be issued 
by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare 
(MoHFW).

• International air travel of passengers has been 
permitted in a limited manner under the 
Vande Bharat mission.

• Cinema halls, swimming pools, 
entertainment parks, theatres, auditoriums, 
assembly halls and similar places are not 
allowed to open.

GUIDELINE 5
• Vulnerable persons are advised to stay at 
home, they are:
– people above 65 years of age
– people with co-morbidities
– pregnant women
– children below the age of 10 years

GUIDELINES FOR CONTAINMENT ZONES
GUIDELINE 1
• Lockdown in containment zones will 
remain imposed till 31 August.
• Only essential activities will be allowed.

• Within the perimeters of containment zones, 
strict social distancing and other norms of 
containing the spread of the virus shall be 
maintained.

• The containment zones will be notified on the 
websites of respective district collectors of the 
states and Uts.
• The activities taking place in these zones will 
be strictly monitored by the authorities.
