Ways to Remove Spyware
1. Using the Clean my Mac x software
2. Uninstalling  suspicious applications
3. Removing suspicious browser extensions
4. Updating the Operating System
Scan the mac computer using 
the cleanmymac x software
• Download the CleanMyMac X 
software from the manufacturer site.
• Navigate to the Malware Removal tab.
• Select the Scan button followed by the 
Remove button.
• This option ensures to remove spyware 
completely.
Updating the operating system 
to remove spyware
• Navigate to the Menu option.
• Select the Software Update option. Now, you 
will be directed to the App Store.
• Select the Update button when you are not 
having the latest version of the Mac computer.
• If you have already updated the Operating 
System version of the Mac computer, restart the 
Mac computer.
• While restarting the Mac computer, the spyware 
will be removed automatically.
Removing some browser 
extensions on the safari
• If you find any extension for the 
application or program that is not 
downloaded by you, select the extension 
from the extension list.
• Click Uninstall to remove the selected 
extension.
• Perform the previous steps to remove 
spyware and unwanted extensions on the 
Safari web browser.
