Hybrid imaging combines two or more medical imaging modalities—such as PET with CT or MRI, or SPECT with CT—to deliver both functional (molecular/physiological) and anatomical detail in a single scan. It’s increasingly adopted in oncology, neurology, cardiology, and other specialties for early diagnosis, treatment planning, and disease monitoring. Drivers of market growth include rising prevalence of chronic and complex diseases, demand for greater diagnostic accuracy, favorable healthcare policies, and technological advances. High costs, reimbursement issues, and integration challenges remain as barriers.
