HOW AURA AIR 
WORKS
-Unlike other Air Filters which are at best 4-stage, 
Aura Air uses SIX stages of air purification and 
disinfection, in a very aggressive manner, to really 
address, not just particulates, but viruses, bacteria 
& mould through a variety of innovative as well as 
traditional technologies.
Aura Air uses UV-C LEDs together with two patented 
technologies - special  Copper impregnation inside 
the core of the HEPA Filter and the unique 
Sterionizer technology.
Step-1
Air is first sucked in through the easily removable 
and washable Pre-Filter to remove larger particles of 
airborne dust.  The latest technology fan used has a 
CADR of 206CFM (350m3/hour), better than many, 
much larger, floor standing units.
Step-2
Air then passes through the HEPA filter - a 
99.45% effective filter of particles down 
to 0.18 microns in size.  This only needs to be 
typically changed every six months - see 3. 
below;
Step-3
Unlike other Filters that build up viruses and 
bacteria inside the filter - a patented smart 
copper impregnation inside the Ray 
Filter aggressively kills the viruses, bacteria. 
Copper is a well known for its anti-microbial 
properties;
There is also a CARBON layer inside the Ray 
Filter which absorbs VOC's* and bad odours;
Step-4
Then  UV-C LEDs** or sometimes called a 
"Germicidal Lamp" further reduces bacteria, 
viruses and mould concentrations;
Step-5
Finally, the patented Sterionizer completes 
the unique and thorough, 3-stage air 
disinfection cycle, by sending positive and 
negative ions into the air, breaking down the 
protein structure of viruses and bacteria, 
rendering them harmless. Traditional Ionisers 
produce Ozone which can damage the lungs.
