Happy New Year from Beeja! As we usher in a new year, many of us are setting resolutions and
intentions for how we want to improve our lives. For me, one of the most powerful tools for achieving
inner peace and personal growth has been Vedic Meditation, practiced both in-person and online.
I first discovered Vedic Meditation several years ago when I was dealing with chronic stress and anxiety.
I had tried various forms of Meditation before, but I always found it difficult to quiet my mind and truly
relax. Vedic Meditation, however, felt effortless and natural, and I quickly began to notice the benefits in
my daily life.
Vedic Meditation is an ancient method that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. It involves the use
of a personalized mantra - a specific sound or phrase - which is repeated silently in mind to help quiet
the thoughts and access a state of deep relaxation.
What I love about Vedic Meditation is that it's not a one-size-fits-all approach. Each person is given a
unique mantra that is tailored specifically to them based on their individual needs and characteristics.
This personalized approach is what sets Vedic Meditation apart from other forms of Meditation.
I first learned Vedic Meditation in person with a teacher, but I have since transitioned to practicing
online. This has been incredibly convenient and flexible, as I can meditate from the comfort of my own
home on my own schedule. The online meditation sessions are just as effective as in-person sessions,
and I have found that I can still achieve a deep state of Meditation even when practicing online.
One of the biggest challenges of practicing online Meditation is creating a dedicated space for
Meditation in your own home. It's important to find a quiet, comfortable spot where you won't be
disturbed and to eliminate any distractions. But once you establish a routine and commit to your
practice, the benefits of online Meditation are profound.
For me, the benefits of Vedic Meditation have been transformational. By accessing a state of deep
relaxation through Meditation, I am able to let go of stress and anxiety and connect with a deeper sense
of peace within myself. This has translated into greater joy and fulfillment in my daily life.
As we commence a new year, I encourage anyone who is interested in Meditation to give Vedic
Meditation a try, both in-person and online. The benefits are truly life-changing and can help you turn a
sense of inner peace and well-being that will carry you through the challenges of the year ahead.
