Prepare your nails by removing old polish and soaking your nails in warm 
water. You'll need to take off your old polish, even if it's clear, to apply fake nails. 
If you have old polish on your nails will make it harder for the fake nails to stick. 
They'll end up falling off in a day or two unless you take this necessary step.

cut them – this softens the calcified growths and makes them easier to

from the soak, use an orange stick or cuticle pusher to softly keep off 
your cuticles. This way you can make sure you're gluing the fake nails 
to your nails, not your skin. Gently wipe nails from cuticles to 
fingertips with 99% alcohol to remove any residual oils from nails. 
This helps polish adhere better to nails.
• Apply False nails, Before you start applying nail glue, take time to 
size out the press-on. Once you've matched the press-on to your nails, 
apply glue or adhesive tabs to the press-on. Place the press-on on top 
of your nail, make sure it's centered, and press down.
