French Cuffs 
The French or double cuff is the 
most formal and stylish option for 
dress shirts. This design features 
an extra length of fabric that folds 
back on itself, allowing you to 
fasten the cuffs with cufflinks. The 
folded-over part of the fabric show
s a contrasting lining or more of 
the shirt fabric.
Barrel Cuffs
Barrel cuffs are a step down in 
formality from French cuffs. They 
have a simple rounded shape that 
wraps around the wrist, closing 
with either buttons or button holes. 
Barrel cuffs range from very 
narrow to slightly wider depending 
on personal preference.
Single Button/Kissing Cuffs
Single button or kissing cuffs have 
a rectangular shape and close on 
the underside of the wrist with a 
single button. Only a thin sliver of 
the cuff shows when your jacket
is on. 
Convertible Cuffs
Convertible cuffs, as the name 
suggests, convert between being 
worn as a French cuff or barrel cuf
f. The extra-long design folds over 
and takes cufflinks to mimic a 
French cuff. But buttons within the 
fold allow you to fasten it like a 
barrel cuff as well.
