Wi-Fi extenders can be 
set up with both 
Mywifiext and 
Mywifiext setup. To see 
the mywifiext setup 
procedure, both your 
computer and the 
Netgear wifi extender 
must be on.
Steps to fix setup problems with mywifiext.net:
1. If you wrote the wrong address for a website.
2. Type mywifiext setup in the address bar.
3. If you're still using an old web browser.
4. If you do not have a Netgear extender and your main Wi-Fi 
settings are the same.
5. Any problems with how you set up your Windows Firewall.
6. If you share a password or key and have problems with 
SSID.
7. Make sure that you are always connected to the Netgear 
network.
8. It can also say that mywifiext.net doesn't have a server.
