Here are the steps you need to take to finish setting up a 
manual Netgear Nighthawk EX8000:
1. Turn on your Netgear Nighthawk AC3000 EX8000 when it is close to your 
router.
2. Then, hook the repeater up to a power source.
3. Watch for the red Power LED to turn green.
4. The Netgear Nighthawk EX8000 can be linked to a network.
5. Use a computer or phone with a web browser to go to mywifiext.net.
6. It shows the Netgear Genie's assistant for setting it up.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your extender to the WiFi 
network you already have and move it.
8. If you can't connect or can't connect well, move the repeater closer to your 
router and try again until the Link Status LED turns white.
9. Once you've decided where your repeater will work best, you can connect 
your consumer devices to the bigger WiFi network.
