FB Mondial introduced its most awaited Piega 125 in 
competition with the KTM 125 Duke. The starting price 
will be 4,400 Euro (approximately Rs 3.66 lakh). The 
weight of the bike is only 135kg.
The Piega 125 is comparatively lighter than its primary rival, the 
KTM 125 Duke (159 kg).
FB Mondial is an Italian motorcycle company that earlier tied up 
with Kinetic Motors to sell its motorcycles in India. However, they 
had to close some of their stores due to low sales. FB Mondial is

In 2022, the business will once again make the news with the 
introduction of the Piega 125 motorcycle. FB Mondial has 
compared it with the KTM 125 Duke and found it to be much more 
affordable. The sad news is that it will not be marketed in India. It 
is only available in European markets.

The biggest attraction of the Piega 125 is its grand appearance. Rodolfo Frascoli, who also designed 
the new 2022 Suzuki Katana, designed the motorcycle. This is also evident as the Piega125 draws a lot 
of inspiration from the Katana.
It has the perspective of a hunter who is ready to pounce on his prey thanks to the headlamp cover. 
USD forks with gold plating and muscular tank shrouds add to the Predator appeal. Twin projector units 
stacked on top of each other handle the headlight function. They have LEDs. Tank shrouds are 
designed to increase downforce for an aerodynamically superior front-end feel.
The most attractive aspect of the design is the tail section of the Piega 125, which houses the set of 
taillights, a number plate, and indicators on the tire hugger. As a result, the rear of the motorcycle has 
an extremely elegant and basic appeal. The bike gets wide street-style handlebars, split seats, 
underbelly exhaust, and urban look swingarms.
The 2022 FB Mondial 125cc gets single discs at both ends along with single-channel ABS. Apart from 
this, the instrumentation of the motorcycle is shown on the TFT color display. Overall, the design of the 
Piega 125 appears to be modern and elegant.

The Piega 125 is powered by a 124cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that generates 14.8 bhp power 
and 10.5 Nm torque. Whereas the KTM 125 Duke is powered by a 125cc engine that produces 14.5 bhp 
power and 12 Nm torque. The Duke offers additional torque as compared to the Piega. But when it comes 
to the kerb weight of the bike, the Piega is lighter than the Duke. The KTM Duke weighs 159 kg while the 
Piega weighs only 139 kg.
FB Mondial Piega 125 Price
The Piega 125 by FB Mondial is priced at EUR 4,400 (approximately Rs 3.66 lakh) while the 125 Duke by 
KTM is priced at EUR 5,450 (Rs 4.54 lakh). The Piega125 is not only lighter and somewhat more powerful 
than the 125 Duke, but it is also more affordable
FB Mondial is not sure about introducing its Piega 125 in the Indian market as its price in India will be 
almost double as compared to Europe. Another reason for this is that the KTM 125 Duke is made in India, 
its price is Rs. 1.70 lakhs, which is less than half the price of the Piega125 in Europe.
