Platform and Wedge Heel Sandals by BIRKENSTOCK
The BIRKENSTOCK Heel Appeal
BIRKENSTOCK basks in the limelight for
footwear that is visually stylish and
functionally comfortable. With various
unisex styles and their variants, we have
an aesthetic that is prominently gender-
neutral and minimalist. But we also
believe in doing something new and
different. We added equal parts of
minimalism and femininity along with a
dash of classic and some modern
seasoning to create Papillio.
Papillio is a range of
platform and wedge heel sandals by
BIRKENSTOCK. Noticeably feminine,
extremely elegant, and unquestionably
comfortable, these sandals add oodles of
grace and style. Following the
BIRKENSTOCK custom, the Papillio range
does not compromise on comfort.
Comprising evolved classic styles and
fresh designs, this range is on its way to
becoming your next shoe rack staple.
Arizona Platform: The timeless crowd-favorite
sandal has been reimagined in a platform heel
variant. Cool, casual, and balanced, the vegan
sandal is made from Birko-Flor®. Dual
strapped with adjustable metal pin buckles,
the sandal maintains its stability and comfort
level despite the heel owing to the
anatomically shaped footbed. Available in
classic white, black, and mocha, the Arizona
Platform pairs well with cropped linen pants,
baggy trousers, exaggerated sleeved shirts,
halter neck bralettes, layered mesh vests, etc.
Glenda: A sandal that forms the bridge
between high fashion and functionality,
Glenda is a wedge-heeled BIRKENSTOCK
model. The broad instep combined with the
ankle strap and a slightly flared wedge heel
makes this sandal optimally comfortable and
chic. The sunken footbed allows the feet to
rest naturally even on the raised heel.
Available in leather and textile options in
neutral colors, this sandal is ideal for women
who want a day-to-night look. Glenda pairs
equally well with casuals and dressy
ensembles, as it does with formals and semi-
formals.
Mary: Inspired by classic Mary Janes, Mary is
a rustic and edgy wedge heel sandal. The
little slit at the front gives it an almost
graphic look, while the heel straps ensure
optimum grip and stability. The delicate
round buckles add to the femininity of the
sandal. Made from natural leather in black
and brown, the sweet sandals pair well with
frilly skirts and dresses in vintage prints or
polka dots, flirty blousons, flared pants, etc.
Samira: Samira is a bold wedge heel
sandal. Featuring broad cross-straps and
an ankle strap, the beautiful sandal is eye-
catching. The round buckles add a touch of
daintiness to the striking design. Made
from soft natural leather in black, the
sandal makes a great accessory for street
style and everyday casuals such as
cropped pants, crisp jackets, tailored
shirts, solid-colored tunics, printed flared
bottoms, etc.
Sibyl: Instantly appealing and ultra-stylish,
Sibyl is a wedge heel sandal. Its narrow
straps swathe the foot delicately and form a
cross-strap design before forming the ankle
strap. The round buckles add to the
sophistication. Made from black
natural leather, the versatile sandal can be
paired with almost every look you fancy.
Soley: Soley is the definition of elegance in
simplicity. The wedge heel sandal features a
narrow instep strap with an ankle strap. The
round buckles make for a pretty detail. The
black and brown natural leather sandal has
a classic appeal while being contemporary.
Pair it with classic ensembles such as a white
shirt with jeans, basic pencil skirts with
georgette blousons, and all-black semi-
casual ensembles.
Now that you know what lies in store for
you, deny yourself, no more, the comfort
and style of the Papillio range. Trust us,
you NEED one (or all) of these NOW!
