Android is a mobile operating system 
produced by Google. Its different and 
modified form of the Linux kernel along 
with other open source and designed 
mainly for touchscreen cellular devices for 

example tablets and smartphones.

In October 2003 “smartphone” was 
used by the majority of the public, 
and many years back Apple 
announced its first iPhone and it is 
iOS.The organization Android 
Corporation began in Palo Alto, 

California. It’s founders were Wealthy 
Miner, Nick Sears, Chris White and 

Andy Rubin.

In 2007, Apple launched first iPhone. At 

that time, Google was focusing on 
Android secretly. It used the 
development of outdoors Handset 
Alliance which was a competition to 
phone makers like HTC and Motorola 

etc.

After purchasing Android 
Corporation, the Android Free 
Project (AOSP) was started and it 
was brought by Google. The AOSP 

manages the Android software 
stack. The aim of Android Free 
Project is to produce “effective real 
world product "which will increase 

the mobile experience for users.
