Microsoft Corporation is 
multinational company which 
develops and sells software, 
hardware, and services, other 
computer technologies widely.  
 


Founding Microsoft(1972 – 1985) 
 
Bill Gates and Paul Allen were friends and founded 
their first company, named Traf o Data at New 
Mexico, in 1975. 
The company was based out at  Redmond, 
Washington, since 1986.  
In 1987, Microsoft was known by public and Gates and 
Allen started Microsoft named company which was 
known for microprocessors and softwares. 
 
 


Arrival of Windows and Office(1985–1994) 
 
In 1985, Microsoft a new operating system was 
released called Window’s. With its graphical user 
interface and  drop-down menus, scroll bars  etc it 
became more famous. 
The Company was moved to Redmond, Washington, 
and was known by public and Microsoft raising $61 
million. In 1980 year Microsoft become the world’s 
biggest personal-computer softwareOrganisation. 
 
 


Arrival of Web, Windows 95, Windows XP, Xbox 
(1995–2007:) 
 
In 1995 personal computers were used at  home and 
at offices .After this success Windows 95 made a hit 
debut. Further Microsoft introduced a web browser, 
Internet Explorer. 
In 2001, Microsoft developed video-games in the  
market . 


Other version of windows (2007-2011) 
 
Windows 8/8.1, Xbox One, Outlook.com(2011–2014) 
 
 
In 2007 Gates focused on new technologies and brought 
arrived-Microsoft Azure, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and 
Microsoft. 
 
In 20011 Windows 8 just rocked and Gates launched Xbox one, 
Outlook just explored with its features. 


Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile, Microsoft 
Edge and HoloLens(2014- till now) 
 
Microsoft never stopped succesing and in 2014 introduced 
Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile also.  
Microsoft edge is introduced. 
It has launched hololens. 


Until 2017 Bill Gates was the 
most Richest Man in the World 
but now in 2018 he is the 2nd 
most Richest.
