Entrance exam scores are typically used to determine admission to MBA programs at leading 
universities. Some institutions also consider candidates' merit and professional experience when 
making admissions for the 2024 intake. Candidates seeking admission to MBA programs in the 
academic years 2024-2026 must take either national, state, or university-level entrance exams 
such as the CAT, XAT, MAT, TANCET, and others. 
CAT, a widely recognized national-level MBA entrance exam, is especially popular among 
candidates seeking admission to IIMs and other prestigious business schools. According to the 
most recent information, the IIFT MBA entrance exam 2024 has been cancelled. The Indian 
Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) will now consider candidates' CAT scores during the 
admissions process.
The CAT exam for the 2024 MBA admission cycle will be administered by IIM Lucknow on 
November 26, 2023.  In addition to national-level MBA entrance exams, candidates can take 
multiple university-level entrance exams such as XAT, IBSAT, SNAP, and so on to gain 
admission to MBA programs.
