GUM For early stages of gum disease, 
one may only need regular 
TREATMENT scaling  and  cleaning of the 
teeth, and followed by daily 
brushing and flossing. Gingivitis 
is fully reversible. However, if 
disease progresses, and bone 
loss has occurred, t he lost 
tissue cannot be regenerated 
easily. 
 
A deep cleaning procedure may 
be indicated,  sometimes in 
conjunction with antibiotic 
treatment.  In certain cases, 
surgery may be needed.

Root  canal  treatment involves ROOT CANAL 
cleaning  the infected tooth pulp 
(that is the nerve of the tooth) TREATMENT
and replaces it with a root filling. 
The procedure may take multiple 
appointments. 
Often following root canal 
treatment, tooth is weakened 
and may fracture. 
A crown is needed in most cases 
to restore the tooth to its normal 
functional state in your mouth.

At Caulfield South Denial Surgery, 
we offer either a take home ROOT CANAL TREATMENT
whitening kit or an in-office 
whitening procedure. The latter 
also include a take home kit to 
maintain the result achieved on 
office. 
Teeth whitening is not permanent, 
but ow long the effect last will 
depend on the type of treatment 
you have and how well you look 
after your teeth afterwards. 
To maintain the results longer, you 
should avoid smoking, staining 
food and drinks such as tea, coffee 
and red wine.
