The MHT-CET entrance exam, or Maharashtra Common Admission Test, is 
an annual entrance examination held by the Maharashtra government. The 
Directorate of Technical Education is responsible for the event. This entrance 
exam focuses mostly on degree programs in the following fields:
- Engineering (B.E/B.Tech)
- Pharmacy (B.Pharm)

MHT – CET Entrance Exam Pattern
The MHC-CET is carried out in several locations across Maharashtra and outside the 
state. There are three papers on the test. Mathematics is the first paper, and Chemistry 
and Physics are the second. Paper 3 has questions on zoology and botany; all the 
papers are MCQ-based and have a set time limit of 90 minutes.
Eligibility Criteria
MHT CET 2022 is open to all Indian citizens who have completed the HSC/12th class 
or an equivalent examination. To take the exam, candidates must meet the MHT CET 
Eligibility Criteria established by the organizing body. According to DTE Maharashtra, 
MHT CET will fill 85 percent of the seats at private unaided engineering colleges in 
Maharashtra. In comparison, 15 percent of seats will be filled/reserved for the All India 
Quota based on MHT CET.
