After registration and onboarding are complete, you can begin the online portion of the program.
Step 2 — Start the 49-hour online course
Your online coursework includes lessons, videos, PowerPoints, quizzes, exams, and state-exam preparation. The current
program information also notes that students attend one live Zoom session as part of the online course. Plan your time so
you can complete the online portion before moving on to the in-person training.
The online portion must be completed before you schedule your skills lab and clinical training. The program must be
completed within 60 days overall.
Step 3 — Schedule and complete the 27-hour skills lab
Once your online coursework is complete, schedule your hands-on skills lab. You will practice CNA skills using approved
equipment and receive in-person instruction. The lab portion is 27 hours.
Step 4 — Complete the 24-hour clinical training
After the required online coursework, you will schedule your clinical training. The clinical portion is 24 hours and gives you
experience in a real clinical setting. Clinical placement depends on facility availability, so complete your online work and
schedule the next available option that works for you.
