Largetest Miniature Wonderland: Northlandz
Northlandz is recognised by Guinness
World Records as one of the world
record holders. The largest collection
of tiny model trains offers children a
wealth of amazing sights. A miniature
railroad that is nearly 8 miles long and
features more than 100 trains running
over bridges, buildings, and canals is
housed in a specially built facility in
Flemington, New Jersey. It can take
you two hours to observe everything
in this large HO-sized show due to its
size. Because it features some of the
most incredible sights that portray
authentic life-like architecture on a
very small scale, you will remember
this place for a very long time.
Aviation Hall of Fame and Museum
The Aviation Hall of Fame and Museum,
regarded as one of New Jersey's top
museums, houses the state's space and
aviation history. When the collection
grew, the museum was later moved into
an adjacent facility from its original
location in Teterboro Airport. The
exhibit includes images of honorees
from the aviation, military, and space
departments, as well as space
equipment, present and historical
artifacts, art, and model airplanes. The
exhibit and the outdoor settlement here
will amaze you despite the fact that it
isn't as large as other metropolitan
museums (in a good way). The Museum
also hosts Dare-To-Fly excursions and
available cockpit weekends, both of
which are free and open to the public.
The New Jersey State Museum
One of the most well-known and
significant museums in New Jersey and
is well worth seeing. The Museum
structure offers a stunning view of the
Delaware River and provides services
for a huge area between Philadelphia
and New York. Archaeological and
ethnographic items, specimens from
natural history, works of fine art, and
artifacts from cultural history are all
included in this collection and are neatly
organized into several Bureaus and
Departments. Visitors can also tour the
140-seat Planetarium and 384-seat
auditorium in addition to the
exhibitions. If you have a lot of time,
stay a little longer at the planetarium
because it hosts some fantastic
programs for both children and adults.
Camden, Delaware River Navy Museum
If you're interested in the history, you
should travel to Camden, New Jersey.
It is situated directly alongside the
Delaware River. You see, the
enormous, historically significant
battleship known as the Battleship
New Jersey is situated within the river.
Since there are no fights going on right
now, you can easily board and tour the
US Navy's most decorated ship. You
may explore a huge collection of items
from the ship's involvement in prior
conflicts, particularly WWII, at the
Navy Museum where it is currently
housed. Additionally, you'll be able to
see the massive 16-inch gun turrets.
