Videographer, producer, and editor David Sorbello completed his bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and anthropology from Syracuse University. It was followed by an MS in education and a Ph.D. from the Maxwell School of Citizenship (anthropology, sociology, and psychology of sports). It was followed by an MS in education and a Ph.D. from the Maxwell School of Citizenship (anthropology, sociology, and psychology of sports). His educational background was the foundation for his current work in the archival & historical preservation of the West Genesee boys’ lacrosse program. Ph.D. In The Anthropology After receiving his Ph.D.in the anthropology, sociology, and psychology of sports from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship, David Sorbello dedicated his academic interests to understanding the cultural contexts of the sports world, especially the collegiate student athlete. This path led to his current work in archival cataloging and preservation of the West Genesee boys’ lacrosse program’s historical archive. Participated In A Number Of Athletic Sports David Sorbello was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. Growing up in Syracuse, David Sorbello participated in a number of athletic sports. His favorite sports were lacrosse and hockey. He stayed active in those sports communities throughout his adult life, giving back to the sports he loved by working as a hockey official and lacrosse official. He continues to give back with his lacrosse documentary work. Enjoys Traveling David Sorbello enjoys traveling. Once he finishes his documentary work, David Sorbello hopes to be able to continue exploring more places throughout the United States and countries around the world. On his bucket list is rafting the Colorado River, hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt McKinley, and traveling across Europe via Euro train. He also wants to visit Israel, Iceland, and Peru.
