Types of 
Braces

teeth with metal bands. Traditional metal

range of orthodontic problems, but they 
are also the most visible type of braces.
Clear ceramic braces are made of a clear 
material that is less noticeable than 
traditional metal braces. Clear ceramic 
braces are a good option for patients who 
are concerned about the appearance of 
their braces.

The Braces Process

After Braces
Once your braces are removed, you will need to wear a retainer to 
keep your teeth in their new position. The retainer should be worn 
for at least 6 months, but some patients may need to wear it for 
longer.
