next to impossible to continue with the previous hiring techniques. But before adopting these
strategies, one needs to know the fine difference between the two.
Employer branding defines, Recruitment Marketing promotes
Employer Branding is aimed at defining the employer brand, the visions, aims, objectives of the
employer. It defines the value that the company bestows upon its employees. Usually
organisations with strong visions, goals are the ones that are preferred by the top potential
employees.
Where as, Recruitment Marketing is a process through which the employer brand is promoted,
with the help of various marketing techniques, in order to hire the best candidates

Employer Branding no matter how the techniques change, the message should always
stay in sync with the original definition of the employer. The goals, objectives, visions
often a company do not often change and hence, employer branding stays more
consistent than Recruitment Marketing. Promotion techniques can always be changed
and used in an innovative manner. .
Employer branding and Recruitment Marketing even with their
differences cannot exist without each other. Even though both the
words cannot be used interchangeably, they both have the same aim to
achieve but with their own different techniques. At the end of the day
the employer wants to hire good talent for its organisation. Both the
techniques with their growing popularity are being intensively used by a
lot of businesses, the ones that don’t have an HR team in place, are
