Manual lymph drainage (MLD) is a form of massage technique that helps facilitate the 
movement of lymph fluid/ swollen lymph nodes around the body. This gentle massage 
helps remove waste products and toxins from the body tissue, which is especially crucial for 
patients with swollen lymph nodes and Lymphatic diseases, including but not limited to;
Remedial massage is a systematic assessment and treatment of the musculoskeletal pains, 
aches, sport and postural related injuries. Remedial massage is design to balance muscle/ 
soft tissue length, normal joint mobilization/ bone position, increase blood flow to re-
establish the body’s capacity to rebuild by enhancing nutrient distribution to the affected 
area, as well as removal of waste products via the blood and lymphatic system. Our Remedial 
massage therapist have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of anatomy, 
physiology and pathophysiology to determine a treatment plan.

Victoria Market. Myofitness was founded by Elizabeth Ruach, who wanted to change the 
normalisation of being in pain, especially chronic pain in our society. Elizabeth wants to 
empower and help people who are constantly in pain and are struggling to get a long-lasting 
solution for their chronic pain through a patient-centred natural treatment plan. The truth is 
chronic pain has the debilitating potential to ruin quality of life and take away the simple 
pleasures of life such as an active lifestyle and a relationship with the people around us. But 
pain does not have to ruin our lives, nothing deserves to take away our happiness.

James is a passionate, highly skilled remedial therapist 
currently completing his Bachelor of Health Science and 
Osteopathy studies. James can treat multiple conditions and 
provide holistic care to all clients. James has extensive 
knowledge in motion testing and creating home corrective 
programs to help clients progressively build themselves back 
from injury or postural dysfunctions. James’ love for exercise, 
sports and remedial massage has led to his passion for 
helping people suffering from new or existing injuries and 
aiding with the mental strain that it may hold. Outside of his 
work life, James takes part in team sports, such as football in 
the premier division and solo weight lifting competitions. 
However, he provides a well-balanced treatment plan 
through the passion and empathy he shows to clients.
