INTRODUCTION
– The Apple Event Tuesday ended with Apple launching four 
iPhone 12 devices, all equipped with 5G. 
– The iPhone 12 series includes the iPhone 12, a smaller 
iPhone 12 Mini and larger iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro 
Max. The new phones will be available for consumers in 
India starting October 30.

IPHONE 12 SERIES PRICE
– Apple has launched iPhone 12 models: iPhone 12 mini, 
iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. 
– iPhone 12 mini price is $699 (roughly Rs. 51,200) for the 
64GB base variant, whereas the iPhone 12 64GB is priced at 
$799 (roughly Rs. 58,600). 
– iPhone 12 price in India starts at Rs. 79,900. 
– iPhone 12 mini price in India starts at Rs. 69,900.

– iPhone 12 Pro ships with a 128GB base variant at a starting 
price of $999 (roughly Rs. 73,000) and the iPhone 12 Pro 
Max starts at $1,099 (roughly Rs. 80,600) with 128GB 
storage on the base variant. 
– iPhone 12 Pro price in India starts at Rs. 1,19,000 and 
iPhone 12 Pro Max price in India starts at Rs. 1,29,000.

IPHONE 12 SPECIFICATIONS
– iPhone 12 ships with an OLED display, and has more 
durable Ceramic Shield glass technology. 
– The iPhone 12 series supports 5G and in the US it supports 
mmWave 5G too. 
– All smartphones will ship with iOS 14 out of the box, along 
with the A14 Bionic SoC, which we've already seen in the 
new iPad Air. 
– The A14 Bionic is a six-core processor with a four-core GPU.

– The iPhone 12 has two 12-megapixel wide-angle sensors, 
with Apple claiming that the detail will be much better in 
low light photos. 
– Apple also spent some time touting its night mode, which 
now works on all cameras of iPhone 12, including the front 
camera. 
– As for video recording, the iPhone 12 gets night mode time-
lapse which allows you to shoot excellent low-light videos, 
according to Apple.

MAGSAFE WIRELESS CHARGING 
– Apple also introduced the new MagSafe wireless charging 
standard for iPhone. This standard supports up to 15W 
wireless charging. 
– MagSafe accessories can snap on to the back of iPhones for 
better alignment of the charger. 
– Apple is also launching a series of MagSafe accessories to 
improve the wireless charging experience.

USB-C CHARGING WIRES
– It's not just the MagSafe charger that has switched to USB-
C for connectivity. 
– All the iPhone's will now come with a USB-C to lightning 
cable in the box. 
– Since Apple has done away with wall chargers, this means 
you would need to spend money on buying wall chargers 
with USB-C ports.

NEW SENSOR SHIFT OIS 
– Along with better sensors, the iPhone 12 Pro Max also gets 
a new optical image stabilization technology sensor shift. 
– The sensor-shift OIS technology has been used majorly in 
mirrorless cameras, and it does offer better stabilization 
compared to standard OIS.

resistance of up to 6 meters.

resistance of up to 4 meters.
