There are many new tech trends at CES 2018 Which 
was held in Las Vegas. Now a days technology is 
Changing day by day. These new inventions are 
changing the world and our lifestyle. Inventions are 
making are work easy and surprising us with their 
features. These new tech trends are:-

• 5G.
• AI.
• Robotics.
• Voice.
• Face Recognition.
• VR.
• Smart Cities.


5G
It is a type of Wireless Technology, We all are aware of 
4G’s speed, So we can assume that 5G’s speed, 
Capacities and lower latency. AR and VR needs high 
data speed, So this invention is good for these 
technologies. There is example of data speeds of 3G, 
4G and 5G.
For download 2 or 3 movies 3G would take 26 hours.
4G would take 6 minutes.
5G would take 3.6 seconds.
From these results we can assume5G’s speed.


AI(Artificial Intelligence)

AI like Machine Learning. You all are aware of 
Machine learning which has features to recognize user 
and their behavior also. Automatic cars has AI in it. 
With the help of AI, Car can sense Objects in their path 
also help in data processing and actions. Language 
Processing is also done by Artificial Intelligence and 
also build trust and reduce bias with user.


Robotics

Robotics means how to deal with robot design, 
Construction, operation and use of it. This technology 
helps in development of substitute for humans. There 
are many types of Robots in market like Kuri, Sophia.
Kuri is like a family helper and Saudi Arab has been 
declared Sophia as citizen.


Facial Recognition

Face Recognition means recognize your face through 
your eye retina(Which is Unique) and nose and other 
things. Now a days iPhoneX and Cars also have face 
recognition feature to recognize their owners. For 
safety of your data and other personal things face 
recognition is very reliable. 


VR

Virtual Reality is use to create a simulated 
environment. With the help of VR we can create 
Environment which looks real. VR is used for pilots, to 
train them and also use in army trainings. VR create 
War Environment, So soldiers can do their training 
with the help of  VR. There are devices for VR like 
Head mounted device. 


Smart Cities

Smart Cities are the combination of society and 
Technology. Smart cities are well maintained cities 
where all things are well mentioned with the help of 
technology like traffic Management, Power plants, 
Water Supply Network, Waste Management System, 
Schools, Hospitals and Self-delivery vehicles etc.

Now a days there is a rapid growth in smart speakers 
shipments. One shopper from 4 shoppers is using voice 
assistance  to do shopping. There are many voice 
assistance in market which are covering the market. 
Many Companies like Amazon, Google lunched their 
Voice assistance.
