Medical Education In New York
After completing his medical education in New York, Dr. Donald Sonn 
obtained a Massachusetts medical license. He spent several years as 
an assistant professor at Tufts University School of Medicine before 
serving as the chief of surgery at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. In his 
spare time, Dr. Donald Sonn enjoys reading, skiing and traveling.

Dr. Donald Sonn has always been 
committed to helping others. He 
completed his medical training at 
Long Island Jewish Hospital and 
then moved to Massachusetts to 
become a urologic surgeon and 
instructor of urology. Dr. Donald 
Sonn also travels to developing 
nations to give patients all over 
the world access to better 
urologic care.
Member Of American Urologic Association
From 1997 to 2019, Dr. Donald Sonn was an active member of the American 
Urologic Association. He's also a current member of the American Medical 
Association and the Massachusetts Medical Society. As a partner at the Urology 
Group of Western New England, Dr. Donald Sonn uses advanced treatment 
techniques to help patients.
An Instructor At Tufts University
In 1998, Dr. Donald Sonn became licensed to 
practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. 
Before joining a private practice, he served as an 
instructor at Tufts University School of Medicine 
and the chief of surgery at Cooley Dickinson 
Hospital. Dr. Donald Sonn also demonstrates his 
commitment to patient care by volunteering 
overseas.
