Dragon Natural Speaking is voice recognition program available in different languages. Through it, you 
can create documents MS office using your voice and all types of reports, letters and emails etc. Dragon 
Naturally Speaking dictation is quicker than typing. 
How to create user profile? 
First make sure that you have Dragon Naturally Speaking installed and running on your PC.  
On Dragon power click on profile and then manage profiles, Dragon will show you all the profiles you 
have created.  
Click on new dragon that asks you to input any name. Put here the name that you can remember in 
future and relevant to input device like headset. 
Click on next. 
If you are using Dragon premium then you can save your profile on the network and access it from 
whichever PC. 
Select the area where you like dragon to store and click on next. 
Dragon asks you how old you are, the reason it asks this is because all of data collection is collected over 
the past 20 years has allowed it to specify pitch and tone of the particular agent so select your age and 
click on next. 
Select Country and click on next 
Dragon asks which accent you have, select standard accent and click on next. 
Now, Dragon asks you which input device you are using to create the profile. 
Click on next after choosing speech device. 
Now you get the opportunity to review your choices to make sure every option is the right option for 
you and once you have checked then click on the create. If you have to make changes then click on back 
button. 
Dragon has 250000 words already in its dictionary and your profile has been created. 
Choose device you will use for speech recognition and click on next. 
Position your microphones properly and click on next. 
Dragon then displays the volume. Set the level of the volume for microphone. 
Click on Start volume check and read the paragraph above. 
Read the text aloud so Dragon can set the proper volume of your microphone. 
Beep to signal that the process means volume has been adjusted successfully. Click on next 
Dragon will test sound system quality. It is suitable for speech recognition. 
Read paragraph aloud so Dragon can check your audio quality. 
Once you are finished, click on next. It gives you opportunity to train your voice specifically.
