About Dudhsagar Waterfall Trek:
Mondovi River flowing in the Western Ghats bordering between 2 states creates a drop at colleen of  
Goa bordering Karnataka. This is 4 tiered waterfall, and water jumps from a height of 310 meters above  
sea level. And a Dudhsagar waterfall is like the Sea of Milk hence the name Dudhsagar. Legend has a  
Story about the falls. The beautiful princess who lived in the kingdom close to the falls used to take a  
bath in the streams of these falls, and after completing it, she used to drink the sweet milk in a golden  
jug. On one such day, after completing her bath, she found she was. Being watched by a prince, Red,  
with embarrassment at her inadequate bathing attire, poured the jug of water and entered the water to  
cover her body. In the meanwhile, the maids rushed to cover her with her dress. It is said that it is that  
sweetened milk that cascades down the mountain slope as Dudhsagar Falls to this day as a tribute to the  
virtue of the princess.
Dudhsagar Falls lies in the Bhagwan Mahavir Wild Life Sanctuary, has much wildlife in it, and this fall is  
one of the world's most exquisite falls. It lies high up in the Mondovi River's watershed; during the  
monsoon season, falls are transformed into one of the most powerful falls in India. Dudhsagar Falls is  
listed as India's fifth tallest waterfall and is 227th in the world at 310mtrs.

About the Activity:
 Embark on an adventurous tour to Dudhsagar Peak amidst the lush greenery of the Goa forest 
 range.
 If you have opted for the package with transfers, then you will be picked up from one of the  
pick-up points in Bangalore on Friday night.
 If you booked a package without transfers, then you need to reach the homestay.
 Travel to Dudhsagar base with a packed lunch, and the trek starts from the Nalakand palace at  
the base of the hill.
 Visit mini waterfalls and several crystal clear streams flowing nearby.
 Meet your experienced and friendly tour leader, who will lead the trek and will help you  
throughout the trek.
 Reach the homestay, grab some delicious dinner, and choose to sleep either in the rooms or  
tents.
 Enjoy delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Day 1 and breakfast on Day 2.
 Wake up and get ready to make a beeline for Bangalore after breakfast.
 Soak in the scenic views while sightseeing during and after the trek. Return with unforgettable

 06:30 AM Arrive at the homestay in Goa.
 07:30 AM Freshen up and get ready for the day.
 08:30 AM enjoy a hearty breakfast and pack a lunch.
 09:30 AM Begin the Dushsagar trek, surrounded by nature's beauty.
 01:30 PM Reach the Waterfall and have a packed lunch with stunning views.
 02:30 PM Start descending back to the base.
 04:30 PM Return to the trek base feeling accomplished.
 06:30 PM Reach the homestay and relax with tea.

More Details about Dudhsagar Trek
 All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details at the time of arrival and entry.
 ID proof is mandatory for each guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will  
not be considered valid address proof.
 Timings for meals will be specific which will be informed you by the guide.
 Pay heed to the guidelines given by the trek leader or instructor to enjoy a safe and sound  
trekking experience.
 Consumption of alcohol or any other intoxicating products is prohibited during the Dudhsagar  
Falls trek.
 The above pickup and timings as been selected based on the Bangalore traffic Jam, and the  
timings will help the participants to reach on time to the campsite and maintain the schedule of  
the trek.
 Because of any reason, natural or personal, if the trek or a particular activity is not completed,  
no refund will be processed.
 The Dudhsagar Falls trekking takes place through an eco-friendly zone; we do not encourage  
littering the local sites or campsites.
 For safety purposes, a Dudhsagar Trek is not recommended for women who are more than 3  
months pregnant, anyone who has had major surgery, has a broken leg/arm, has chronic back or  
neck pains, etc.
 The exact pick-up location and time will be confirmed after the booking.
