The most common application of a mobile with GPS is turn-by-turn navigation. Apps like Google Maps, Waze, and Apple Maps use the GPS data to guide users to their destination with real-time directions. This has made paper maps and dedicated navigation devices largely obsolete. Beyond just getting from point A to point B, these apps also provide crucial information like estimated arrival times, traffic conditions, and alternative routes. The GPS data allows the apps to adjust in real-time, rerouting a driver to avoid a traffic jam or alerting a pedestrian to an upcoming turn
