Oxycodone, sold under the brand name Roxidone 
and oxycontin which is extended release from 
others, is a semi synthetic opioid used medically for 
treatment of moderate to severe pain. It is highly 
addictive and is a commonly abused drug.
  
Onset of pain relief typically beings within a fifteen minutes and 
lasts up for to six hours with the immediate release formulation. In 
the  united kingdom, it is available by injection. 
Combination product are also available with paracetamol. 
Side Effects :
Vomiting, dizziness, constipation or drowsiness may occur. 
Some of these side effects may decrease after you have been 
using this medication for a while.

Uses : 
This medication used to help reveille moderate to severe pain. 
Oxycodone belongs to a class of drugs known as opioid 
analgesics. It work in the brain to change how your body feel 
or responds to pain.
If you have ongoing pain such as cancer, your doctor may 
direct you to also take long acting opioid medication. In that 
case this medication might be used for sudden breakthrough 
pain only as needed.  
Precautions :

are allergic to it or to other pain relievers such as 
oxymorphone or if you have any other allergic. This product 
may contain inactive ingredients, which can gose allergic
