Kaziranga National Park is home of the largest population of the one-horned rhino. 
The national park is located in the state of Assam of Northeast India. October to 
March is the best time to visit Kaziranga National Park.
Majuli is the largest riverine island which is one of the top tourist places in Assam. 
Majuli island is spread over an area of around 452 sq km and most of these get 
submerged underwater during the monsoons. 
Manas National Park is a UNESCO Natural World Heritage site, a Project Tiger 
Reserve, an Elephant Reserve, and a Biosphere Reserve in Assam. The ideal 
time to visit Manas National Park is from October to March.
Kakochang Waterfalls are a magnificent wonder of nature. The main waterfall is 
located 13 km from the Bokakhat in Jorhat which attracts tourists around the 
year. The waterfall gives splendid views of the ruins of Numaligarh and lush 
green tea plantations. 
Assam State Zoo And Botanical Garden is loacted at the capital city of 
Guwahati. It is the best place for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts who 
wants to spend time in the green zones of this state.
