Konstantin Eduard Ishkhanov was born in 1970 in Baku. Later he moved to Moscow and after he permanently moved to Europe. Although he graduated from the Russian State University of Oil and Gas after Gubkin, he worked shortly by profession. Mr. Konstantin was always fond of Art and Culture, especially that of classical music, as he had many famous musicians among his friends and family members. He used to go to music concerts and events. In 2012, Konstantin Ishkhanov founded the European Foundation for Support of Culture (EUFSC) non-profit organization, which was aimed at initiating and promoting cultural and educational projects in Europe Konstantin initiated the conduction of a few concerts, which resonated positively in public, so later he decided to follow his passion. Today, Konstantin’s life is strongly intersected with EUFSC’s activities. Very soon, the growing success of the Foundation spread across the Eurasian, North and South American Continents. Thanks to Konstantin’s efforts every year the EUFC holds numerous festivals, competitions, exhibitions, conferences, presentations, master-classes, workshops, round-tables, concerts and other events seeking to support and promote culture, to inspire interest in various types of modern art and to support young talented musicians and gifted children. With the help of the Foundation, young artists are given the opportunity to perform on the most prestigious stages in the world, such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Berliner Philharmoniker, Wiener Philharmoniker, and Great Hall of the Conservatory in Moscow. Moreover, the Foundation contributes to the blooming of Art by introducing the public to the best cultural achievements/events, and also by supporting modern composers. One of the most important projects initiated by Konstantin Ishkhanov became the Annual Malta International Music Festival, the participants of which are world-renowned stars such as Grigory Sokolov, Maxim Vengerov, Ray Chen, Salvatore Accardo, Andreas Ottensamer, Nikolai Lugansky, Martha Argerich and many others. In 2017, the Foundation held the premiere of “The Crystal Palace” ballet, with the participation of choreographers and soloists from the Bolshoy and other famous theatres of Russia. The Foundation also sponsored the 40th Jubilee Gramophone Classical Music Awards 2017 ceremony in London. In 2019, EUFSC together with the Production Company Ilya Averbukh organized an exclusive project in Malta - the Ice Show “Shutovskaya Wedding”. The soloists of the island's unique performance were world-famous leading figure skaters, winners of world championships and the Olympic Games: Tatyana Totmyanina and Maxim Marinin, Alexei Yagudin and Ivan Rigini, Dmitry Solovyov and Ekaterina Bobrova, as well as world-famous opera diva Anna Aglatova and many others. In 2016-2020, on the initiative of Konstantin, the tours of the Maltese Philharmonic Orchestra, the State Orchestra of Kazakhstan “Academy of Soloists”, the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia, the Symphony Orchestra “Kiev Virtuosos”, the Tbilisi State Chamber Orchestra “Georgian Sinfonietta” and the Orchestra Filarmonica Nissena Siciliana (Italy) took place. The Symphony Orchestra of the State Academic Capella of St. Petersburg, the Chelyabinsk Orchestra "Classics", and the Karelian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra had performances in in Europe, America, and Russia. In 2019, the President of the European Foundation for the Support of Culture Konstantin Ishkhanov became the first and only foreign holder of the highest cultural award of Malta for "Unique" contribution to the culture of Malta. Also this year, the Russian Performing Arts Public Fund awarded Konstantin a medal “For Contribution to the Development of Musical Culture”.
