Are there any drugs that are safe for treating erectile dysfunction pills? In this presentation, I'll go over three of the most commonly prescribed FDA-approved medications, as well as their dosages, and possible adverse effects. I'll also discuss how long each prescription lasts, which meds are the safest, and which medical conditions the medication can influence. Are there any drugs that are safe for treating erectile dysfunction pills? • You're not alone if you have erectile dysfunction (ED). In the United States, an estimated 18 million men suffer from ED. Though widespread, ED can have a negative impact on your personal relationships as well as your physical and mental health. Fortunately, FDA- approved drugs have been demonstrated to be beneficial in treating ED in the majority of men. • Erectile dysfunction pills are a safe and effective technique to treat ED in most men. Because medication is only available with a prescription, it's critical to consult with your doctor to determine which, if any, medications are appropriate for you. What Is the Process of ED Medication? • All of the existing ED drugs are phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) inhibitors, which operate by increasing the effects of nitric oxide to relax penile muscles, enlarge blood vessels that lead to the penis, and enhance penile blood flow, all of which help men get and sustain better erections. • Erectile Dysfunction medicine are safe when used carefully by healthy people and can help men have more happy sexual lives. What Are the Different Types of ED Medications? Currently, the FDA has approved four different types of ED medicines. We'll go through three of them here: sildenafil (Viagra), tadalafil (Cialis), and vardenafil (Levitra) (Levitra). • Sildenafil Citrate (Viagra) Many doctors recommend sildenafil first because it has been on the market the longest and has well-known adverse effects and drug interactions. Sildenafil is supposed to be used as needed, so you'll need to take it right before you engage in sexual activity. It can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour to take action, and it lasts for 4-5 hours in your system. • Tadalafil is a drug that is used to treat erectile (Cialis) Another popular ED drug is tadalafil. Tadalafil, unlike sildenafil, can linger in the body for up to 36 hours, allowing men to become erect at any point throughout that period. • Vardenafil is a drug that is used to treat erectile (Levitra) Vardenafil acts in the same way as sildenafil but at a lower dose. It also stays in your system for about 4-5 hours. Can your ED medication be affected by certain conditions? • If you're thinking about using ED drugs, keep in mind that there are some drug interactions and medical problems to consider. • Hypertension: Hypertension medications such as alpha blockers and nitrates can interact with ED medications and cause hazardous adverse effects. • If you take nitrates for an underlying heart disease, you should avoid PDE5 inhibitors because they can cause a bad reaction when coupled with ED medication. Furthermore, those with heart problems are at the highest risk of having a heart attack or stroke as a result of taking ED medicine, and are thus advised against using it. • ED medicine may not be safe for you if you have low blood pressure, high blood pressure, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, or have previously experienced heart attacks or strokes.
