Becoming an EMT in Utah can be more flexible with EMT Utah’s two-step online training pathway. The first step is the Online EMT Course, which allows students to complete the academic portion through self-paced online learning along with live Zoom instruction. Students can enroll through EMT Utah’s locations serving Murray, Orem, Logan, and Clearfield, making this option convenient for people across different areas of Utah. The program covers important EMT topics such as emergency care, trauma, airway management, medical emergencies, and EMS operations while giving students the flexibility to work through the online coursework at their own pace. After completing the required online coursework and final exam, students move to Step 2: the Skills Boot Camp. This hands-on portion is designed for students already enrolled in the Online EMT Course and provides practical skills training, evaluations, and preparation for the psychomotor skills exam. Currently, EMT Utah lists the Skills Boot Camp at its Murray, Utah campus, giving students the opportunity to put their online learning into practice with hands-on instruction. If you’re ready to begin your EMT training in Utah, start with the online course and then complete the Skills Boot Camp to move forward in your EMT education.
