Smart fridge
Fridge by Samsung which consists of a display 
in the door and the user can see what’s inside 
the fridge via the display. Also, the user can 
make notes on the touch screen. With 
convertible refrigerator modes, the user can 
switch between freezer mode and fridge mode. 
There is also smart fridge by LG, where the 
door becomes transparent when knocking on it 
and so you can see what’s inside. It also has the 
functionality of opening the door automatically.
Smart Glass
Smart glass or switchable glass (also smart 
windows or switchable windows in those 
applications) is a glass or glazing whose light 
transmission properties are altered when 
voltage, light, or heat is applied. In general, 
the glass changes from transparent to 
translucent and vice versa, changing from 
letting light pass through to blocking some (or 
all) wavelengths of light and vice versa.
