Noida Home Tuition Fees 2026 - What Parents Actually Pay

Noida home tuition fees What 141 tutor asking rates actually show From the EZ Tuitions rate study, snapshot of 22 September 2026 Why single out Noida? Noida parents see the same quote everywhere: Rs 500 per hour. Is that the real price, a starting point for negotiation, or just the number everyone types? We can answer part of that question with data. On 22 September 2026, EZ Tuitions took a read-only snapshot of its own platform. Out of 7,500+ registered tutor profiles across Delhi NCR and a Mumbai comparison set, 1,286 carried a self-set hourly rate. Of those, 141 profiles were Noida tutors. This note explains what those 141 asking rates show, and just as important, what they cannot show. The numbers here are asking rates that tutors typed into their own profiles. Families pay the tutor directly and no money moves through the platform, so the settled fee after a conversation is not visible in this data. Noida in one line The middle half of Noida’s 141 rate-bearing profiles ask between Rs 350 and Rs 500 per hour (p25 Rs 350, p75 Rs 500). Read that again: in Noida, Rs 500 is not the middle. It is the ceiling of the middle half. Three quarters of Noida tutor profiles ask Rs 500 or less. Noida is the most compressed city in the whole study. For comparison, Gurgaon’s top quarter starts at Rs 700 (n = 75), and New Delhi’s spread is wider too. If you are a Noida parent being quoted Rs 800 or Rs 1,000 per hour for school subjects, that quote sits above what three quarters of Noida tutors on the platform ask. It may still be justified by the tutor’s subjects, experience or track record, but it is not the typical ask. The Rs 500 habit Across all 1,286 profiles in the study, 37.6 percent ask exactly Rs 500 per hour, and 97.7 percent of all rates are a multiple of Rs 50. Noida follows the same habit. We checked whether Rs 500 could be a software default filled in by the platform. It is not: the backend default for the rate field is Rs 0, and 298 zero-rate profiles were excluded from the study. The clustering is a pricing habit, not a form artifact. Why so many tutors independently pick Rs 500, the data cannot tell us. Because so many profiles type the same number, the median rate in Noida is Rs 500, and the median is Rs 500 in every other city too. That is why this note uses the middle half (p25 to p75) instead of the median: the median has stopped measuring the city. Online versus at-home in NCR The study also split rates by teaching mode. Online profiles (n = 531) show p25 Rs 300, median Rs 500, p75 Rs 500. At-home profiles (n = 263) show p25 Rs 400, median Rs 500, p75 Rs 600. The medians are identical, so the honest statement is narrow: the cheaper quarter of online tutors prices about Rs 100 lower than the cheaper quarter of home-visit tutors. Travel time is a plausible contributor, but these slices do not isolate it. If a Noida tutor quotes the same rate for online and at-home sessions, that matches what most of the platform does. If they quote more for home visits, that also matches the pattern at the higher end. Experience: only one bucket breaks Rs 500 Across the full study, only tutors reporting 6 to 10 years of experience (n = 100) show a median above Rs 500: their band is p25 Rs 500, median Rs 600, p75 Rs 800. Every other experience bucket, including 10+ years (n = 47), medians at Rs 500. So a Noida tutor with 6 to 10 years of experience asking Rs 600 to Rs 800 is asking what their peers ask. A tutor with 1 year of experience asking Rs 800 is outside their peer band in the data. Neither tells you whether the tutor teaches well. An asking rate is not a quality score. Using this when you talk to a Noida tutor 1. Treat Rs 350 to Rs 500 per hour as the typical asking band for Noida, with Rs 500 as the most common single ask. 2. Compare monthly quotes by teaching hours: hourly rate x session length x sessions per month. A cheaper monthly package that buys fewer hours is not cheaper. 3. Ask what the quote covers: travel for home visits, worksheets or materials, extra sessions before exams, and make-up classes for missed ones. 4. Bring class, board, subject and locality into the conversation. This study has no class- wise price list for Noida; the sample cannot support one. 5. Take a demo class before committing. Fit matters more than Rs 50 either way. Limits of this data The Noida slice is 141 profiles from one platform on one day. It mixes school subjects, classes and boards. It shows asking rates, not settled fees. It cannot tell you the right fee for your child, and it says nothing about cities outside the sample.
