1. Warning lights

Driving should be free of jerkiness and engine stalling. The drive from 
your car should always be smooth. If your car’s engine is irregular in it’s 
power and drive, it may indicate a pending serious engine problem. The

fuel lines, and blocked air filters.

Engine noise
Changes in engine noise such as a tapping or popping sound from your 
car can indicate pre-ignition detonation within your engine cylinders. 
This can result in expensive piston damage. Don’t ignore these noises. If 
you experience a change in engine noise with your car, make sure you 
service it immediately.
4. Unpleasant smells
Unusual smells can indicate serious engine issues. It may indicate oil, gas or coolant leaking from conventional closed loop systems which shouldn’t smell. It

These are your red flags to observe:
