1. Preventing Wrinkles

rolled around a paper core and stored in a cool, dry place.
Rolling prevents wrinkle formation in the first place as compared 
to folding. This helps you in making the flag usable right after 
taking it out of storage.
2. Removing Wrinkles from Polyester or Nylon Flag
After getting some wrinkles, it is crucial to know the fabric used for making your flag. Polyester and Nylon flags 
can be ironed with regular home appliances such as an iron and garment steamer.
Start by removing any poles from the flag.
Method 1 – Iron
Drape the flag over the ironing board. Make sure to fill up the iron’s water reserve to its fullest. Put it on its 
lowest heat setting to avoid damaging the flag’s fabric. Don’t stick to the same spot for too long. 
Method 2 - Garment Steam
Hang the flag in the same way as pre-steamed clothes. Use the steamer normally, applying gentle steam to relax 
and flatten them out.
Method 3 - Hair Dryer
 
Just like other ways, ensure to use the lowest heat setting. Run the hair dryer along the lines of 6 inches away so that it’s 
close enough to work but safe at the same time as well. Use a slow, gentle back-and-forth motion so that the wrinkles get 
smoothed out.
Method 4 - Hang it in The Sun Outside
The most common solutions are the easiest to overlook. This way depends on the weather, but if it's available, it can be 
really effective. Lay out the flag flatly on a table. Ensure it gets regular sunlight and leave it outside for a day.
