If you think you could qualify for NDIS assistance but haven't looked into it yet, we'll walk you through the steps you need to do to get started. Despite the fact that the NDIS assists over 400,000 people each year, there are still severe eligibility requirements to complete before you may receive NDIS support.

Step-by-Step Guide to Using the NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) was created to provide
individualised help to Australians with disabilities. If you think you could
qualify for NDIS assistance but haven't looked into it yet, we'll walk you
through the steps you need to do to get started.
Examine Your Eligibility
Despite the fact that the NDIS assists over 400,000 people each year, there
are still severe eligibility requirements to complete before you may receive
NDIS support. If you're not sure if you're eligible, visit the NDIS website and
answer their questions before moving on to the next step.
Complete the form
Once you've determined whether you're eligible, you'll need to fill out an
Access Request Form, which can be downloaded from the NDIS website. You
must notify yourself, as well as your location, legal guardian, and impairment.
The Access Request Form is somewhat extensive, and you may need assistance
learning or filling it out.
After you've completed this form, send it to the NDIS via email, mail, or your
local National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) office.
Make sure you're ready for a planning meeting
You'll be invited to present at an NDIS planning meeting in person, online, or
over the phone once the NDIA has examined and accepted your Access
Request Form. This discussion digs a little deeper into who you are, what
services you currently use, and what support you might need in the future
from different NDIS providers to help you achieve your goals.
Make use of a plan manager
You may be feeling a bit overwhelmed at this point in your quest for NDIS
assistance, which is totally normal. If your NDIS exploration becomes
stressful, it's a good idea to request a plan manager during your planning
meeting. A plan manager can help you leverage your money, negotiate
estimates with NDIS providers, and keep track of your finances and budget to
ensure you don't overspend or underspend at no additional cost.
Thank You !
