UPSC exam in one go. Some succeed in clearing the exam and
some go through it several times. UPSC needless to say is
considered to be one of the toughest exams in India
It is not a cakewalk to clear this exam and requires a lot of
dedication and hard work. Every one wants to clear UPSC and
become an IAS officer, but not everyone is successful in
fulfilling their dream.
Forum IAS is a platform for civil preparations by founder,
MrAyush Sinha for all those students who are preparing for
IAS. Forum IAS comes under the wing of Flaviant
Network private limited. MrAyush Sinha, who is the director
of this programme, understands the skills, strategies and
approach required for the preparations.
Forum IAS (under Flaviant network), aims at providing tips
and strategies which can make the aspirants achieve their
target and help them reach their goal.
Key Points to focus on clearing UPSC exam:-
Why is it that some people clear the UPSC exam but some
do not? What sets them apart from others. There must be
some tips and tricks that make the difference.
Me Ayush Sinha, founder of forum IAS , believes that a few
key points and strategies can help achieve you the dreams
you are striving for. Some of the important things to keep in
mind are:-
1)Time Management:- For an important exam like
UPSC, one needs to pay attention to their time
management skills especially when the syllabus is vast.
This skill is crucial to increase productivity. Do not
waste time and focus on what is important.
2) Timetable:-Plan your study time wisely. Devote time
in finding out all necessary information, books, notes,
syllabus .Utilize it to improve your study routine.
Follow a timetable religiously and allocate more time
for the subjects that require more time and attention.
3) Determination:-It is normal to feel anxious or
overconfident while going through the process of
preparation. There will be times when you may even
want to give up but that is when you have to stay
composed and not lose faith. The key is to not lose focus
and to remember the goal. Sincerity, Dedication and
Determination are vital elements to reach the goal. No
matter what, stay focused and confident.
4) Practise Mock test papers:-Practise, Practise and more
Practise.. There is no other way to gain confidence and
command over the subject than practise. Preparing for
civil services is not easy, but clearing doubts at the right
time will take you closer to success.
5) Planning - Detailed planning, analysing the study material,
making notes and not leaving anything for the last moment is
very important. Last minute study , analysing or clearing
doubts at the last moment is a big no. Know your weak subject
and start working on them from day one. Clarity of mind is
required if want to clear the exams. Stay up to date with
current affairs and sharpen your memorizing skills.
6) Writing skills:-Another factor that will affect your results
significantly is your writing skills. If you do not know how to
express or write what is expected , your answer will not make
any sense. Your answers have to be crisp , clear and accurate.
You have to interpret and comprehend the question correctly
and write what is required.
7) Revision:-Make notes of important points or subject you are
weak at and be very consistent about it. Do not underestimate
the importance of revision. It is important to have notes so that it
is easy to revise whatever you have learned and marked
important.
8) Positive attitude:- Right attitude, positive outlook are some key
points that you can not ignore. Believing in yourself and not
getting affected by negativity around you is as important as
knowing the subject. Staying motivated is of utmost importance if
you want to succeed.
Lastly, most importantly there is no substitute to hard work and
there is no shortcut to success. Perseverance is the key.
This platform understands your dreams and makes it ours. We
take this journey together with a common goal of clearing the
civil service exam with flying colours.
