Generic Singulair has Montelukast as active ingredient which is a leukotriene inhibitor.
Leukotrienes are released by the body as a response to allergens and inflammatory reactions.
Montelukast works in the lungs by blocking the leukotriene receptors thus, blocking Leukotrienes.
This eliminates the symptoms of asthma and allergy attacks.

Dosage
The usual dosage is 10 mg per day.

before exercise.

Precautions
Use with caution after doctor’s advice if pregnant or breast-feeding
