Most residential tenancies are
covered by the Residential
Tenancies Act 2010.   
  
Landlord Rights in SA  
In South Australia, tenancies are
governed by Consumer and
Business Services. Bond must be
lodged by the landlord within two
weeks of receiving it.

In the Northern
Territory, it is the
responsibility of
consumer affairs 
to
enforce residential
tenancies.  This
security deposit is
paid to the 
landlords.
It is equivalent to 
four
weeks’ rent.
