IVF or in vitro fertilisation is a kind of 
assisted reproductive treatment to 
facilitate a woman to conceive. In this 
treatment process, the fertilisation of 
egg with sperm takes place outside of 
a female body. At FSIVF, we explain 
everything, from the process to the 
associated risks/complications and 
tips to have a successful treatment, 
to our patients, childless couples. The 
process we follow is as follows:
• Initial consultation and evaluation through 
physical examinations and a few 
tests/screenings 
• Prescription of medicines to stimulate the 
ovaries 
• Egg extraction from a female’s ovaries 
• Sperm extraction from a male partner’s semen 
• Fertilisation of the egg with the sperm cell
• Embryo development 
• Embryo implantation or transfer into the 
female’s uterus

IUI
IntraUterine Insemination or IUI is a 
process to insert sperm into a 
female’s uterus through an injection 
to facilitate her in fertilisation of egg 
in her uterus. 
Through this, we help her to have maximum sperm 
reach in her uterus so that she can have a 
successful pregnancy. Our IUI process is as follows:
• Semen preparation 
• Ovulation monitoring 
• Insertion of health sperm into the vagina with 
the use of speculum and catheter    
• Observation 
• Pregnancy test after two weeks

Hysteros

As a minimal invasive surgical 
procedure, it is used for operative 
and diagnostic interventions for 
intrauterine adhesion, endometrial 
polyps, uterine septa, and allied 
others. Here is how we perform this:
• Use of anaesthesia
• Insertion of a hysteroscope for viewing the 
reproductive organs in a female body
• Execution before or in early follicular phase to 
avoid the increased endometrial thickness 
debris and mucus 
• Reevaluation of this process in the case of IVF 
failure

Laparos

It is a minimal invasive surgical 
procedure to address infertility. We 
use it for diagnosing and treating the 
blocked fallopian tubes, ovarian 
disorders, and uterine fibroids. Here 
is more on it:
• It assists to visualise the real status of the 
uterus, ovaries, and fallopian tubes
• The size and number of incisions depends on 
what our doctors instruct
• It facilitates in the identification of the root 
cause of female infertility

Tubal 
ligatio
n 
Tubectomy or tubal ligation is a tubal sterilisation 
process. In it, we cut, block, or tie the fallopian 
tubes to permanently prevent pregnancy on the 
request of our female patients. This process 
prohibits the sperm and egg from getting into the 
uterus. It doesn’t leave any impact on a female’s 
menstrual cycle. Here is the process we follow in 
performing it:
• Pregnancy test 
• Laparoscopy to seal the fallopian tubes with the 
use of a few respective tools
• Return to normal life after a few weeks, months, 
or as per our doctor’s instructions

Unilateral 
Salpingo-
Oophorecto

It is a medical term for the removal of the fallopian 
tubes or one ovary. The removal of both ovaries 
and fallopian tubes is bilateral salpingo-
oophorectomy. Here is more on it:
• We do it to treat several health conditions such 
as endometriosis, ovarian cancer, tumours, 
cysts, ectopic pregnancy, breast cancer, pelvic 
infections, and ovarian torsion
• It addresses to ovarian cancer, benign tumours, 
ovarian cysts, or abscesses that don’t respond 
to nonsurgical treatment
• We use laparoscopy, laparotomy, mini-
laparotomy, or colpotomy to perform it
