Monte Amazonico Lodge Tambopata is located on the banks of the Tambopata River, 150 kilometers (9.31 miles) northeast of the city of Puerto Maldonado within the Tambopata National Reserve. Reserve recognized for its biodiversity and that earned it the recognition of having the largest number of tree species in the jungle of the TAMBOPATA River.
