HOMOWO is a harvest festival celebrated by 
the Ga- Adangle people of Ghana. The festival 
starts in the month of May with the planting of 
crops before the rainy season starts. During 
the festival , they perform a dance called 
Kpanlogo.

 The BAKATUA Festival
    
The BAKATUA Festival is celebrated by the 
Ahanta or Nzema people of the Western 
region of Ghana. It is celebrated to thank God 
for the abundance of food at the time of the 
harvest period of the area.

   The Aboakyer festival is a bushbuck 
hunting festival celebrated by the people 
of  Winneba in the Central Region of 
Ghana.
