Extreme E announces - RACING FOR ALL
Extreme E is the newest form of electric off-road racing that uses batteries rather than combustion
engines to deal with climate change and preserve the environment we cherish. Spanish businessman
Alejandro Agag created this idea to promote off-road racing in electric SUVs and safeguard the
environment from humankind's destructive activities. The extreme e-racing series is held in remote parts
of the world. The most isolated areas of the planet, including ocean islands, deserts, arctic tundra, high
elevations, and rainforests, may now host electric racing. Drivers engage in the Extreme e-car race in
challenging environments like the Arctic or the deserts of Saudi Arabia. Every race's venues are chosen to
increase awareness of the particular effects of climate change.
Extreme E seeks to achieve other objectives beyond merely improving environmental balance. It also
narrows the gender gap. Every participant must compete in every race, and each team has a male and
female driver. The Extreme E Racing Series has already done a lot to advance diversity in motorsport by
establishing a male/female driver lineup for each team. However, they are making efforts to diversify the
series through an initiative called
RACING FOR ALL, motivated by the recommendations of the Hamilton Commission.
Extreme E teams are limited to only five mechanics or engineers, reducing overall engagement
across the Championship. The Racing for All project provides an extra spot for a sixth individual
to join each team to get practical experience. This position is open to anyone with less than a
year of professional racing experience. It gives them the chance to learn what it's like to be a part
of a professional race team and make an important step towards their career in a competitive
industry.
Racing for All promotes Extreme E's original concept of motivating positive action as a sport-for-
purpose series to accelerate cultural and behavioral change. The project aims to break down
barriers and bring individuals who may not otherwise be able to take advantage of this
opportunity, with a specific emphasis on women, ethnic minorities, and persons from lower
socioeconomic backgrounds, who are strongly encouraged to apply. Extreme E is working with
Equal Engineers consultants to train its staff about inclusive recruiting procedures, ensuring all
candidates are welcomed and considered.
Alejandro Agag, Founder and CEO of Extreme E said: "We are delighted to launch the
Racing for All initiative. We are fully supportive of the findings of The Hamilton
Commission and working with our teams to provide a clear path for the brilliant
engineers and mechanics of the future, who may not so readily have the opportunities
to succeed.
“Our goal is for Racing for All to instill an inclusive mindset and a wider recruitment
pipeline which enables the next generation of race mechanics and engineers to reach
the highest levels of motorsport, regardless of factors such as race, gender or social,
economic status, and reduce the barriers which exist for certain communities.”
Extreme E has done much for the racing industry by breaking down diversity barriers and
empowering women to participate in motorsports. Formula E has launched the Girls on Track
program to increase awareness and assist women in racing. Girls aged 8 to 18 are offered the
opportunity to explore career opportunities in the women's motorsports business through FIA Girls
on Track. The program's purpose is to demonstrate to young girls from all socioeconomic
backgrounds that female racing is a welcoming option with a variety of career prospects that are not
confined to males. Introducing "RACING FOR ALL" will considerably enhance the system by
removing all hurdles and restrictions based on gender, caste, or socioeconomic status. So, do your
part by supporting the system and stepping up to empower young people to seek careers in racing
by learning about the latest job opportunities. Follow Gititstore on Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest to
