Way To Fix Mobile Hotspot Setup Issues:
 Update Network Adapter Drivers:
First, you have to tap on Win key + X at the same time to
open the Device Manager. After this, you should choose 
Show hidden devices option on the View menu. Now, you 
have to double-tap on Network adapters in order to 
expand the menu. Then, you have to right-click on 
Microsoft Hosted Network Virtual Adapter and then 
choose Enable device if incase, it’s not presently enabled.
Here, you need to choose Update driver on the adapter’s 
context menu and then choose Browse my computer for 
driver option. At this point, you need to choose Let me 
pick from a list of available drivers option, and then go to 
Microsoft Hosted Network Adapter. After this, users 
should press the Next button just to update the driver. 
Next, you should right-click on Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct 
Virtual Adapter 2 which is listed on the Device Manager. 
Now, you should select Enable device. Then, you have to 
choose Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter 2’s Update 
driver option on its context menu. Here, you should tap 
on Browse my computer for driver and Let me pick from a
list of available drivers. Lastly, you should choose 
Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter model listed and 
then tap on the Next button.
 2. Check Hosted Network Support:
You need to press the Windows key + X at the same time
and then select Command Prompt as an Admin. After 
this, you should enter the command and tap on Enter 
key:
NETSH WLAN show drivers
At last, you should check the hosted network support 
details.
 Open Network Adapter Troubleshooter:
For this, user should open the Troubleshooter by typing 
Troubleshoot word in the search bar. After this, you 
should select Network Adapter and then hit on the Run 
the troubleshooter button. At last, you should select the 
All network adapters option and then tap on Next to go

 Check Internet Connection Sharing Service:
You need to press the Windows key + R together and 
then enter services.msc in the Run text box and then hit 
on OK button. After this, you should double-click on 
Internet Connection Sharing. But if the service is disabled,
then you should select Manual or Automatic from the 
Startup type drop-down menu. At last, you should tap on 
Start to kick-start ICS, and then tap on OK button.
 Adjust Wireless Network Adapter Properties:
For this, you should tap on the Windows key + X at the 
same time and then choose Device Manager. After this, 
you should double-tap on Network adapter in order to 
expand the adapter list. Now, you should double-tap on 
your current network adapter, in order to open its 
properties. Then, you should choose Advanced tab. At 
this point, you should select 802.11d and choose Enable 
from the Value drop-down menu and then hit on OK 
button. You should tap on View option on the Device 
Manager window and then select Show hidden devices. 
Here, you need to double-tap on the Microsoft Hosted 
Network Adapter in order to open its properties. After 
this, you should select the Power Management tab. At 
this point, you should unmark the Allow the computer to 
turn off this device to save power option if in case, it is 
presently selected. Lastly, tap on OK button to close the 
window.
